| Mazzuchelli race crank. Malossi 210 top end kit, slightly milled head. Port matched. Dellorto PHB30 carburetor. Prima Performance exhaust. Giulari King and Queen touring seat. All new seals and bearings. New wiring harness. I built this years ago, properly ran the engine in, and then I ran out of time. I was just starting to mess with different needles for the carb. So, very little miles on the engine. It is basically all new. New paint (black) too. the paint was done at a local paint shop (not a rattle can job). Who ever buys this will probably need to spend a day or two playing with the needles on the carb to get it tuned right. Or you take it to a shop and they could do it. It's easy, I just do not have the time to do it. I'm asking $3,250. Please email me if you are interested and I'll email some pictures. The scooter is located in Elkmont, AL. which is near Huntsville, Nashville, Birmigham. |

I assume this is a rotary intake right? Anyway, somebody buy this thing! It should be way too fun.
I've got PHBH needles coming out my ears! It's probably the slide though. They're always too rich on the PHBH. Rich and popping at around 1/8-1/4 throttle=slide cutaway. I think they normally come with a 3mm cutaway and you need a 4. Ask me how I know this and have a ton of needles |

| yep, rotary intake. you may be onto something with the slide. i ordered some needles to try and correct the small throttle opening. so, how do you know this and why do you have so many needles? |

| Because I tried to fix it with needles. None of them worked. I even plugged up my progression port with moderate success, but unplugging the port and replacing the slide has been the best solution so far. |

I modded mine with the sandpaper on glass trick. Other people have gotten slides but IKD if anyone has them in the US. I'd check with Beedspeed before SIP because they handle small orders better.
I did this on an M210/PHBH30/reed motor. Needles are important and I did manage to find a better one for my setup but I was really looking to fix the slide problem all along.
To mod, I scribed a mark 1mm higher on the center of the cutout area. You change the angle of the cutout when you remove metal rather than taking off an even 1mm throughout the entire cutout face, if that makes any sense. |

| Thanks for the information. I started thinking about it, and I think I actually have a 32mm carb, not a 30mm carb. I went back and forth, but I think I ended up putting a 32 on it. I cannot find my notes and it was a long time ago. Since no one seems interested in buying this thing. I might go back and put them 30mm on it, which is really the appropriate carb size for this setup and then play around with the slides, needles, and jets. One more thing I'll add, just in case someone is thinking about purchasing this scooter. It also has new brakes. I failed to mention that. Oh and all new cables too. |

Not sure about that, but I do know that some of us have lost jobs, the economy sucks, my vintage Vespa was stolen recently (which could have bankrolled another, if needed), it's summer (which means people don't have money because they're taking beach trips, going out more, etc.)...
just sayin'.
Good luck with the sale, though. Everyone knows I want a P200, but it's just not in the cards right now.
I noticed you don't have it up on Craigslist. Perhaps you would get some traffic off that. http://bham.craigslist.org/ _________________ oh hell, i can't think of what to put here... |

Brooks,
Same here. I was out of work for 12 weeks last year and now 6 weeks this year.. Just not in the cards yet. Have you moved to Tennessee yet?
Cheers,

Hey Art! Sorry to hear about the off and on work. We did finally move. We are about 4 miles from the TN state line, just below the Elk River. I finally got to do a little kayaking recently, its nice being that close to the river. How is that scooter treating you?
Owsley9, that sucks, do you have any pictures of the stolen scooter? I didn't really wanna mess with craigslist. I kinda wanted to sell it to someone that knows what they are getting into, since it has so many non-standard parts and requires some tuning. |

| I'm also willing to work a trade. I'd be interested in the following: tractor implements, go carts, dune buggies, firearms, 4 wheelers, boats, pinball machines. |

Oliver,
That is how I got the 1958 VBA 150cc from Brooks. Guns, kayaks, bikes, and such. Bartering is very cool. He had an AllState frame under his old house that he offered to give me but I didn't want to get that dirty for it. If I was younger...
Cheers,
Art
BTW: I live in where little babies cry.......in the ghetto which is a State of it's own. A state of despair. Sigh. _________________ - - Ride a scooter. Be a hero.
