JESUS!!
The Velvet Underground. I'd known of The VE for a while before I heard this song. It suprised me. A struggle between the sacred and the profane? I was shocked. It added dimension to their music for me.
This is the only footage I could find that wasn't from "The Passion", which I think is an inflamatory movie concocted to shock ignorant folks about the way Jews died when they screwed with 'the man' back in the day. A real Jesus fan would've already studied and come to an understanding of his life and death. Not to mention that the song doesn't exactly fit a torturous death scene. |
