don't believe what tedd says will. your beers are still sealed in the case you nabbed them in. let me know when you want me to deliver them to you by the way. |

Since Chimay didn't have a local distributor until this week, the V. couldn't have had it last week. The V. does have Chimay cheese but no beer, yet.
The singles you saw may have been some other Trappist Ale that is currently available, Orval, Westmalle, Rochefort, or La Chouffe Belgian Ale. All of which are sold in singles. _________________ Adopting Claire, check in to get the latest! |

I thought this was interesting:
| Quote: | Hi Everybody,
Wanted to introduce myself and tell you some great news.
My name is Xandy Bustamante and I am the de-facto Regional Sales Representative for the Colorado Craft brands of Durango Brewing Co., Great Divide Brewing Co., and Tommyknocker Brewery.
I just wanted to tell you how excited we are to be in the state and how great your community's hospitality has been, from Stuart and Danner at Free the Hops to all of the great retailers and FTH members I have met on my travels so far. Cheers to you all.
We are starting to increase production at all three breweries for Alabama and sorry if it has been hard to find our products so far across the state, but as you guys know we can only brew it so fast. We are working on bringing in everything we can, from casks and speciality beers to our core products.
Now on to the great news, Alabama you have already became the largest out of state market for all three brands in just three weeks! Yes it is a fact Alabama has consumed more of our products then any other state in June, and in fact for Tommyknocker Alabama even took Colorado in total sales numbers!
I am working hard on bringing in more speciality beers from my breweries and in the next few months expect to see some more great beer from Colorado, we are working on getting Durango's two time (2007 & 2008) gold medal winning De Rail Ale (an old ale), Tommyknocker's (2008 GABF Bronze 2007 GABF silver) Rye Porter out to you all as soon as we can.
In celebration of Craft Beer in Alabama and the Free the Hops community Great Divide has sent out a very limited number of their 15th Anniversary Wood Aged Double IPA Kegs. This Beer was released in honor of Great Divide's 15th Anniversary and is extremely limited in production, but thanks to your fine drinking efforts will be available at limited Craft Beer Bars across the state. Thanks for all your support and cheers to Bama'.
Cheers,
Xandy |
