Hi!

Longtime lurker who finally got a scooter! I'd like to thank you guys first for the wonderful info you had on here on getting your motorcycle endorsement and experiences at the MSF course. Really helped me and my husband through the process of doing those things. I'm sure I'm not the only lurker that appreciates it!

I just got my Buddy Blackjack from Magic City a couple weeks ago and love it. I live in Hoover and have started riding it to work in Homewood area whenever it's not raining. Someone in my neighborhood has a Stella, but I never see him out to chat about scooters.

Hope we can make it out to Sunday coffee sometime soon. My husband was looking at scooters too, but found a great deal on a used Ninja 250 and got that instead.

welcome! my husband and i went down to magic city to see the blackjack and you'd already taken it home. you'll definitely have to make it to coffee so we can check it out. we are also buddy owners. me tangerine 125 and todd italia 150.

Congrats on both you and your hubby's purchases. A Ninja 250 is on the list of bikes I want to have eventually. I think they're neat.

thanks everyone for the welcome! we are definitely going to try to make it out to crestwood coffee one sunday. we haven't been there before.

Here's a pic of the Blackjack. I love it. I made the topcase out of a old traincase and i'm working on debadging it. Almost time for the first service too, and that's when Magic City is going to put on the Prima pipe.

i like the traincase, i bought one for my scoot at a thriftstore, but it didn't work out like yours does on the scoot.
